Importing pdf generates an error

Hi yall,

Using essentials 2021.  When I try to import a .pdf, i get this error File explorer shows as a firefox pdf (if that matters) but properties show ,pdf.

I'm new to CorelDraw !!!!  These pdf files are generated using KiCAD Plot function (if that matters too)

    I get a lot of pdf files that my old X7 won't import. Since I have a copy of illustrator I'll try there first, if it opens fine there I'll save as pdf which allows me to use in corel. If illustrator has trouble with it I'll open in Acrobat Pro and try flattening things or save as postscript. Last resort is opening in photoshop, flatten and save as tif.
