The curves of the letters are not smooth.
Converted to curves:
When exporting to jpeg, tiff, etc., this problem is quite unpleasant.
I found out what was happening. When the text is filled with a solid color, everything is OK, but when filled with fountain fill, the letters are deformed. I think this is a bug of CorelDRAW, not fonts, resolution or antialiasing
Respectfully, it also has nothing to do with the fact that you use CorelDRAW since the 4th version.I try your rendering issue and it doesn't happen. 300 dpi, with a gradient, exported as text and as converted to curves. Everyhting's fine....BUT!!!!But the text, directly in CDraw (not exported) with the gradient colors does happen to have a jagged feel to it.Once converted as curves the jagged feel disappears.I do notice that in version X7 / X8 and now 2017, CorelDRAW has a lot of difficulty previewing text. I often have to refresh the screen, but still isn't clear. But once converted to curves, the vectors are crisp and clean.
can you attach a file sample for test it?

it seems a screen rendering issue, at certain distance it looks wrong, but when you zoom in it looks fine
