How to nudge scale a shape when zoomed in?
The transform handels are not in view and I want to scalte the shape by a tiny amount without typing into a text box.
example Photoshop has a click drag in the number box to scale up or down. most 3D apps also have something similar.
In this instance I'd use the shape tool to drag the node until it "snapped" to the desired pt. Provided you have "snap to objects" on (alt+z).

I would use a macro: #21: Macro - "Adjust Objects; Retain Positions" (AORP).
Set the scaling to 101%, and each "apply" operation scales the selection up by 1%.
The comboboxes are customizable, so you could create your own list of values you like to use (e.g., 90%, 95%, 99%, 101%, 105%, 110%).
You could also try using the trick of using a rotation operation as an "anchored" resize operation.
See a description of that and a video in this thread: Resizing a group of objects using a size of one polygon as a reference [HOW?].
It seems like a strange way to do it, but for some jobs, it works great.
wil try, thank you!
hey that's cool! looks like you have alot of othe neat macros to try, where to place user custom macros?
