Hi,
I upgraded from CDR Graphics Suite X5 to Graphics Suite 2017. I wonder why X5 shows TWAIN sources and 2017 doesn't. Could someone help me please?
Regards, Anselm
I just upgraded to 2019 and have this problem of my very old scanner not working because it is twain. I am also on Win 7. I see twain in the box for acquire but it is greyed out, my scanner shows up in the WIA menu option along with my other scanners. The thing is I need this old scanner because it is a large format flatbed scanner. Seems they don't make them for the general public anymore. I can't afford a new one for over $600 so would love to find a solution to this problem. Is there a work-around or third party program that can make this work??
I use Silverfast
https://www.silverfast.com/scanner-software/en.html
which may be a bit of overkill, depending on your need, but the basic software isn't that expensive.....
Thanks I had a look but it seems my scanner isn't supported. I have an A3 Mustek Scan pro 1200. So it is old. I may have to install one of my older CorelDraw programs again just to make using it easier.
You say it shows up under WIA - have you tried to scan from there?
Have you looked on the Mustek site?
It links to
ftp://ftp3.mustek.com.tw/pub/new/driver/
which lists your scanner. and software to drive it - you may have to scan to a file, then open the file in CGS
