Hi Everyone,
I created an Network Install and I'm able to install everything silently as I want it. Except one thing: The "profileid" parameter doesn't seem to work.
I created the Network Install with an admin and logged in with the account there. I added the profileid on the actuall deployment. But every time I open the application, I get asked to log in. Shouldn't that be done with the profileid so my users don't have to do that anymore?
Kind Regards
Christian
Additional Info: for the deployment I use this string:
setup.exe /qn ADDLOCAL=Draw,PP,Capture,Connect,FontManager,Utility,Filters,DupWiz,VBAFiles,EN,FR,DE,IT ALLOW_INTERNETFEATURES=1 ALLOW_PRODUCTUPDATES=2 DESKTOPSHORTCUTS=0 REBOOT=R USERNAME="<UserName>" SERIALNUMBER=<Serialnumber> PROFILEID=<ProfileID I found in my account Infos>
Like I said: It all works except the profileid seems to do nothing.
Hi Leberle,
Some questions to get a better understanding.
1. When you created a network install did you go through the UI install wizard and sign in with your account credentials?
2. If not, then are you running this command line from the source?
When running from directly from the source you don't need ALLOW_INTERNETFEATURES=1 ALLOW_PRODUCTUPDATES=2
Hope this helps!
Thanks

Hi Brian,
to 1.: I started the 64 Bit setup with setup.exe /a and went through the UI Install Wizard, logged into our customers business account there and entered the license.
I'm running the command I posted from the folder that got created by this.
EDIT: I now tried it without ALLOW_INTERNETFEATURES=1 ALLOW_PRODUCTUPDATES=2 and after that without ANY properties (so just setup.exe /qn), and it still didn't pull the ProfileID in.
BUT in the log the profileid is included as property. Most likely because of the login I did as admin during the setup of the network installation. Corel just doesn't seem to care about it or doesn't know what to do with it.
If users are being prompted to sign in for the first launch, make sure the user is connected to the internet?
No luck then send me the following to brian.fraser@corel.com
If you can get me the PCULogs from one of the workstations and the Persist.xml from the network install and send it to me?
Here's how to get the pculogs from the workstation.
1. Go to the temp directory using Windows Explorer
2. Type %temp% to get to your temp directory
3. Gather all the files starting with PCULog*.*
4. Zip them up and send them to me
