I have a user that has been able to use CorelDraw2017 until this week. When it is run it just quickly closes. I tried Run as administrator and it opened normally. We do not wish to give our users administrator rights. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that did not help. Did something change?
not sure what is causing this but you could try this workaround
.
Thanks. I tried that but it requires an administrator login when you open it.
I found this which worked for me. Hit Win-R and type %appdata%. Rename the Corel folder. CorelDraw then opens without an administrator login.
Am I correct in assuming that, after you did that, CorelDRAW created a new folder named "Corel" there?
You might try using your original "Corel" folder, but renaming the "Messages" folder that is in there.
If that solves the problem, then it would do so without getting rid of all of the other CorelDRAW "user" data that is stored in there.
