Hey Guys
I am trying to create a pattern like this http://www.dapperlifestyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/duck-carbon-helmet.jpg in CorelDraw x4.
It's not something I have tried to do before and I am a newvie to CorelDraw as my new job requires me to use it. My old job required Illustrator CS4/5.
Can anyone help?????

Are you asking how to create the carbon fiber texture as a pattern fill?
If that's what you're asking....one way would be to create a repeatable pattern something like this one which I made it just using a stack of 9 filled rectangles:
Then use Tools>Create>Pattern Fill. Once you save the pattern fill you can use it to fill any shape.
Do a Google search for carbon fiber textures, you might find something closer to the one on the helmet that you can re-create .

Thanks Patti, that's great, I was originally trying to curve the pattern the way that oen curved around the helemt, but I think this will work a treat!
