ROUNDED CORNERS ON .JPEG

How do I round corners on a .jpeg image?  I can easily do it in Corel Draw through rounded corners option or in dockers but the same option doesn't seem to be available in Photo-Paint X4.

Basically I want to end up with a rounded rectangular photo.

Many Thanks

  • Hi

You can draw a rectangle with rounded corners. Then powerclip the desired image in the rectangle and convert that object to bimap or just export it as .JPG.

    • Thank you so much.  I'm new to Corel and I knew there had to be a quick way to perform such a common task.

      Much appreciated.

      • You can do it with PhotoPaint, with a mask with rounded corner. Btw, JPG format does not allows transparent background, so if you want rounded corners you must use other format (TIF, PNG, PSD, CPT)
