Hi, since yesterday I can no more open CPT-Files within Photo-Paint (X4, V 14.0.0701), because the pop-up window (after clicking on "open" ...) contains no more an option for these files. This windows contains approximately 30 options for diffent types of files, starting with CPX and ending with WI. The option for CPT-files is not shown.
Thus, in the folder I have chosen, no CPT-files are listed and I have to change to the Windows explorer and must doubleclick there on the CPT-File I want to open. That's annoying.
Some days ago the option was still present, now it is no more there. I have already uninstalled and again installed Corel X4 but the problem is still the same - and also if I restart Windows 7.
What's wrong or better what can I do?
Check for the installed filters from Tools > Customization > Global > Filters. CPT filters might have been removed by error. You can add or remove filters that you may need. If this does not work then try resetting the PP workspace with F8 key pressed while launching PP.
Hi Anand, thanks a lot for your help! Adding a CPT-Filter did not help, but resetting the workspace solved the problem!
