What is going on with .tiff files from X4? I tried importing one into OmniPage Pro 14 to OCR and it returned an error message. I had to open the .tiff in X3 and save it for it to work.
Thanks, Val. Yes I got the fix. It is funny, though. InDesign would import those .tiff files without a hitch!
Hey Tommy!
We've got it logged here...some apps work fine (like C/S2) and some do not (C/S3)...I think Yani or Os posted a macro to edit the files so that they would work properly in some of the other apps.
T.
Yep, it's here.

As I have mentioned somewhere else, maybe when in Beta or here at the forum, there REALLY should be a simple explanation in the help files, or why not here on this very site, coreldraw.com, on HOW to install a macro, and WHERE to install it.Cant someone at Corel post such thing ease reachable on this very site?It would take away so much unessecary time wasting, and complaints from newbies. It would also from a customer/support view be great to have. And I came to think about it, there is a movie, with exe extension ;-) on how to install a macro, on the website macromonster.com.It even have the nice voice of Jeff Harrison. That little movie would be great to have, as a avi or mpeg movie reachable from this very website, or a page with text and IMAGES saying how to do it. The movie by Jeff though is a great one. Goo work on that one Jeff, really, its very nicly done!!
Hi Foster,I totally agree with you on this.I think that Jeff, Os and so many others, and you as well Foster, have ment and mean a lot to the CorelDRAW and Photo-Paint community. As I said when we met in Phoenix, Scottsdale, its via you guys websites, and yours especially in the beginning I found what I was looking for, when books and courses were no where to find. This CorelDRAW.com will mean a lot, but if Corel will do as you say, incorporate more third party, it will be even better.
You have my vote on this any day in the week!!!
