I have made a Lace Vector Border. How can I resize it so it keeps the same width all the way around as I need various sizes. If I stretch it, it will not be the same width all the way around, so instead of redoing one for each size I need, there must be a much simpler way?
Any help would be gratefully received.
If your lace has a section that repeats, you could draw one section and save it as an Artistic Media object spraylist. You'll need to play with the settings (i.e. rotation & spacing) to get it to go around curves and corners, but the size will be consistent at least. A quick example:
Can you post an example of your lace? Seeing what you are working with would be helpful in figuring out a solution.

Instead of pasting the images, use the browse button next to File upload, select the images on your computer to upload. There is a file size limitation, but I can't remember what it is.
Can you see this? I've exported the image as an png and uploaded the file in word!

I can open the Word docx and see your lace (very nice!), but only the link shows in your post. You don't need to upload the PNG file in a Word file, just upload the PNG itself. If you keep the image width around 600 pixels it should be fine.
That being said...your lace is a bit more complex than I imagined -- especially with those fancy corners. I'm not sure Artistic Media would be the best way to go. I need to think on it a bit. Meanwhile, maybe someone else will have an idea of how to go about it. There's always more than one way to be sure!
This is the png File. So far, I've gone alone and taken out one piece of lace etc., to reduce the width. But would really like to find out if there is some easier way to do this!
Thanks very much for your help Patti
