I presume you're not really trying to open a CDR file in website creator.

But I think 2.7Gb is too large for X5 anyway. There is a historic limit of 2Gb which was imposed by something within windows. At the time X5 was created, nobody expected to create 2Gb files in windows, so programs were not written to detect attempts to create files that exceed the limit.

If you really have a 2.7Gb X5 CDR, it is unlikely you'll be able to fix this other than by finding a backup where the file size was less than 2Gb. But if you want to try, temporarily change the file extension from .cdr to .zip and double click on it in windows explorer. Does that show anything?
