This is funny to me, because I did something like this on my own back in X3.
Thanks for the warning Foster. I'm happy where I am right now, so I'm not upgrading to .1 just yet.
Also, for ANYONE who has the font issue with italics, bold and normal, I swear on all that is holy try Nexus font, put only the fonts required in your windows font folder, put all the rest in a separate, local directory, and point Nexus at it. Unless you have 100,000 fonts you'll be fine. IN FACT if Corel does fix Bitstream I can't imagine me switching back. I have had no font errors since I installed Nexus. About the only thing that would make me happy is if CorelDraw bought or partnered with Nexus to fix the problem.

Mike, Foster has some strange issues which are partly due to bad third party software. I'm not sure about his text on path issue, but as you've seen, others are not having the same problem.
Upgrading is well worth it. There are hundreds of bug fixes. The stability has been improved and there are many performance improvements. I've been using the upgrade for a while now, and I wouldn't be able to go back.

I apologize Foster, I didn't mean it that way. I'm sure the software is fine, but changing the installed files of any program is dangerous for the stability of that software. CorelDRAW now has ways to add third party UI without changing install files, I guess the plugin should be updated.
I just installed the update (after setting a restore point) and everthing works fine on my PC (W7/64 bit). None of the bugs Foster mentioned came up here.
There is just one little thing I noticed: the button to register at the membership program got a wrong position as you can see here:

I forgot about that, you posted that before and I should have mentioned it. I blame the pain meds. Yes, over a network, this is not a good solution. But if your fonts are local, it works great. I have 5900 total fonts.
One other note, if you are on any system since windows xp, make sure you set up your shortcut to NexusFont to 'run as administrator' that way it won't prompt you all the time.
