Hi Y'all. I've never posted here before so I hope you can help me out. I've searched for this topic but did not find an answer.
I would like to export my Corel Draw X6 file to a .pdf., but is there an option that will make it non-vectored? I'm a sign designer and often need to create multi-paged .pdf's to submit to architects and customers. But in giving the customer the .pdf I've now basically given away all of my vectored art. Anyone with Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator can simply import the .pdf and now they have all of my artwork in vectored form. Obviously I can export single pages as .jpg to solve this issue, but for multiple pages, and for contractual reasons I'm required to submit .pdf's to the architect or customer.
Is there a way/setting to export to .pdf, and have it be a simple, rastor-like image, that contains no vectored information?
Thanks,Matt.

You could convert the whole design to a bitmap before you export it to PDF, but why not just export a Jpeg instead and email them that?
Hello Mmatty B; You can convert your CorelDRAW to raster as the Screen shot below, One of the things I do to keep the drawing nice and clean is use vector art (PDF) with a ton of clear lines in the drawing, keeping them inside of the drawing, so if they try to use the drawing and are like most sign co. don't know what they are looking at they'll cut lines all over the place.
George
This is for multiple pages, thus my need for .pdf.
George,
Very clever idea with the hidden lines so any cnc machine or vinyl cutter will cut them...hahaha. I'll have to remember that.
So I guess I'll have to make a batch of duplicate .cdr files that are converted to bitmaps, then open all of those, then export to .pdf, in order to ensure that the art is not vectored. OK. Thanks for the idea. That's a bit more work, but it gets it done. I'm gonna go try that now. Thanks.
Ok, that worked. It was a pain to go through all of that, especially if I have a 32 page sign package that needs to be exported, but it is doable.
Thank you George!
