Hi
Could anyone tell me the correct way to find makes and models of cars in the vehicle template library.
I'm new to Corel and struggling to find the right model.
I'm trawling through the content folder and it takes me about half an hour to find the vehicle I'm after.
I have tried using connect but with no success.
Any tips or advice would be appreciated...
Here is one source. What vehicle exactly are you trying to find?

I presume you hare trying to find a vehicle template from the Corel Clipart DVD (also available as online content)
I had a quick look and the files do have tags, so they can be searched using connect.
To get you started, highlight one of the files in windows explorer. If you're in windows 7 you will be able to see the tags that have been assigned:
Note down one of the tags -- eg Tiguan -- and put this into the search box in Connect :
And there you have it -- two files contain that tag (with each showing copies on both the X6 DVD and online in Corel Content).
The problem may be that the vehicles you are looking for are not in the library, or are not tagged the way you expect. Looking at some example tags may help you to guess an optimum format.

If you want the vehicle for signage design purposes - I don't trust it. I'd rather measure the customer's exact vehicle and take a photo of it, then layer proposed art on top inside CorelDRAW.
Hello flatbloke; What I do is use a macro that I got from Jeff ( above ) it's call SM AutoSize. I use a yard stick in the pic. and tell the macro the yard stick is 36", and it blows the pic. up where the yard stick is 100% scale. Screen shot below. The macro is very cheap for what it does, and I use it 5 to 10 times a week.
