“I / O read error.”

Too many times today

“I / O read error.”

Corel Draw X6 still have huge problem during operation with big files and large amount of memory.

Lost 20 minutes of job!

Just upset.

This is the time when you need something by deadline and software crash...

Have to redo same pages, same way...

Time for double espresso... LOL

  • I/O errors are usually problems with the hardware, not the software. The windows event viewer may give you more information -- look in both the application and the system logs.

But, since you mention big files, you should also check you are not trying to create a file of more than 2Gb. That was until recently a limitation of windows and I don't think that even X6 can create valid files exceeding 2Gb.
