Hello all,
we are having issues with Corel X6: when we try print preview, the print preview window opens, but after we click print, it just crashes and that's it.
Both corel and Windows are updated, and the machine is clean.
Does anyone have some kind of solution, as we can't work withot this function.

We need to try to break this down whether its a problem with the printer or with a specific object in the file.
This isn't the best forum to post in, because we have to start guessing whether the problem is with photopaint or coreldraw. So please also add support to the suggestion at http://community.coreldraw.com/forums/t/37929.aspx which is intended to improve the forum structure to ensure people post problems which are specific to either CorelDraw or Photopaint in the correct subsection.

the problem is with CorelDraw X6 x64.
On another computer with Windows XP and 32 bit X6, all works well.
The problem happens with any file, even a simple rechtangle. However, if we print directly from Core, it works fine. That is not suitable tho, as we can't print business cards, etc.

Is this a network printer, and in particular:

Do both machines share the same printer?
Have you tried newer (and possibly even older) printer drivers? Maybe the current driver is not properly 64 bit compatible.

The printer is not a network printer. It is a standard USB device (HP Color LaserJet 4700 Printer series), which is shared from another Windows 7 x64 machine.
There are three other workstations that use this printer.
I did tried new drivers, but that didn't help. (Also I doubt that HP driver would be not be OK.)
If you would suggest it, I could try reinstalling another drivers?
I remember read here in some other post (I think Gennady mentioned) about the latest HP Universal Printer drivers that have messed up few things. Have you tried using another printer or say a PDF writer to create a PDF file instead of printing it directly to your printer ?

I can not verify it this moment, but will do so later today. This might be a problem, as printing to PDF Creator does work from Print PReview.
I will update the post as soon as I will have more info.
Try TURNING OFF multithreading feature and see if it helps. Worth giving it a try! See screenshot to turn off multithreading.
