I am using corel X6 64 on a Dell optiplex 9010 intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz. 8.00GB of RAM. Its taking about 1-2 minutes to copy/cut/open a file/save a file or even publish to PDF. On the same machine Same circumstances but different User i have no problem. I have to use my user because its connected to my email and at this company i cant change that. I have researched many forums and its not color styles or object styles. It does it on a new file with only one object created. I got a new computer signed on to my user account and the problem persists. PLEASE help.
I had this problem, it was AMD Radeon software for the GPU which was causing it for me. My CorelDraw X8 was slow when creating a new document and very slow copy/paste, Export and Publish to PDF.I uninstalled the "Non-WHQL-Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive" using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and corel worked as intended, on a note im using windows 10 and i let windows do the automatic update it works perfect. Sounds like its an GPU software problem not a Corel problem?I also removed and wouldn't rule out:Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64)Hopefully this helps some people cause i know it drove me insane!

I've just spend days feeling like I was going mad.
I've got an 8-core machine with SSD drives and a quad HD monitor and Windows 10: so everything ELSE runs like a dream.
But I couldn't copy and paste in CorelDraw, export a PNG/JPEG or save a file without it taking 30+ seconds every single time.
I ran DDU v17.0.8.2 and let it run and when the PC rebooted, everything was fine with CorelDraw! X8
