hi there,
i'm a sysadmin @ some schools in italy. one of them have purchased 2 single user licenses of corel draw graphics suite x6. i tested the software in my test environment. the normal installation with autorun works fine. after my first installation i checked on the internet for updates etc. i found what i needed and something interesting for me on the corel site.
with the deployment guide i tried to create a server image. but it didn't work. i recive a message that says my serial number is incorrect. but if a try a installation with autorun or i launch setup.exe on dvd my serial works fine.
step by step (tried on windows 7 x86 sp1, windows 7 x64 sp1, windows server 2008 r2 sp1):
so my question is: is it possible to create a server image with a single user license of the education edition? i want to deploy/remove this software with active directory group policies.
thxmans
No, it is not possible, as the licenses that you have, are single use licenses and not multiple deployment licenses.
To see if it is possible to obtain a multi-user deploy-able license, please contact your local Corel representative.
