I keep getting this error message when trying to install the trial version of X6. I was a beta tester for X6 and uninstalled be prior but perhaps something was left over that's interfering with the installation of the trial. Any help?
Have you look in the Control Panel, Uninstall A Program to see if X6 shows up there?

Were you given uninstall instructions during the X6 beta test? I wasn't on that, but I think that's probably the first place to look.
I don't think so. I tried the manual removal guide and then reinstalling with no luck. I even tried this with another user account and no good.
