I guess it might be helpful nowadays.
I have a computer with a lot of RAM and a SSD drive. In order to increase the SSD-drive lifetime I created a RAMdisk to store all temporary files, TEMP and TMP system folders on it. One day after reboot I couldn't run CorelDraw - it stopped with the error message Unexpected Condition #5000 - D:/WALDO/V1400/APPS/VGCORE...
As I realized the problem was that my RAMdisk hadn't been mounted due to reasons not related with this topic and CorelDRAW couldn't create temporary files. After I solved this issue with RAMdisk - everything worked fine.
Just curious. Has anyone had any issues with SSD lifetimes?
Why Hello John; I have a Intell 335 at 180 gig and delete the temp files every morning and haven't had any problems. ( Love the extra speed.)
