I would like to inform you bout my problem, i'am cartographer and i'am using Corel X6 for daily work, i used to print normally till i had match orientation problem(in my case i have a report with 50 pages some of the figures are landscape, others are portrait) when i'm trying to print it in my Xerox 550 printer i got only the pages with portrait orientation printed correctly, the ones in landscape orientation are printed wrongly .
I would like to find a solution for my problem as i'm in extremely need of printing.
NB: I'am using windows 7 (64bits), and i dont have the problem when i printed the same report in PDF format.
Please can someone help me?
Rgds

Hello ZMounir; I would contact Xerox and ask about updated drivers for that printer for the Windows you have.. The last time I had dealings with Xerox the Rep. just told me to buy the newest printer. ( But you may be lucker.)

Have you definitely got Match Orientation set in the printer screen?
Hello HarryLondon
Yes i have got Match Orientation set in the printer screen, and everything looks right and the preview showen correctly, but i sent the document to the printer i got wrong printing orientation
I tested it in X6 with my printer (Kodak) and a document with page1=portrait, page 2=landscape, page 3=portrait and it rotated page 2 to fit the print page -- which I presume is what you were expecting.

I wonder what you mean by "correctly" ... in the print preview I see landscape - portrait - landscape, the same as the document, and not portrait-rotated landscape-portrait as the document needs to be for the printer.
Do you have the X6.4 update? Help > about coreldraw should show a version beginning 16.4.
Another possible suggestion is to restart CorelDraw and try printing as the first operation, without doing a print preview first -- just in case CorelDraw is still remembering not to rotate the landscape pages when it does the actual print.
Thanks harryLondon for your quick replay,
Yes in the print preview everything looks right, Portrait-Landscape-portrait and so on, bu when i printed the document the result is different , everything is mixed up except some pages.
My Corel version is X6.4.1.1281
Another thing you may find it important i was using Fiery for Xerox 550, now i'am using the one which is for Xerox 570 because my old one was damaged, and Xerox tech changed it by Fiery for Xerox 570, maybe this is the reason.
Shall i upgrade my Xerox 550 printer drivers to Xerox 570 printer ?
I'am looking forward to hearing from you

I'm just wondering about one thing ...

Are you expecting the landscape pages to be printed without rotatation, the same as the print preview?
That could work on a printer with multiple trays, if one tray contains portrait-oriented paper and the other contains landscape-oriented paper. It could also work if you use oversize paper, such as A3 for printing A4 pages. But for people with single-tray printers and using the same size paper as the design, rotation of landscape pages is necessary -- because otherwise part of the landscape page would be truncated when it is printed to a portrait sheet.
I don't have a dual tray printer to test with, but by experimenting with Foxit PDF print driver it looks to me as if CorelDraw can support that mixed orientation working. The clue is in the print screen ...
Notice that the match orientation changes from match orientation (portrait) to match orientation (portrait, ...) when you print a document with mixed orientation.
But ... its hard to tell from the PDF (and I'm testing in X7 at the moment) but I'm wondering if the portrait and match orientation options are working the opposite way to what you would expect ?
I used to print in different orientation with corel draw since Corel X, but this time i'am wondering when i was trying to print a document with different page orientation i got them correctly in the preview but wrongly in the printing, i'am using Xerox 550 with multiple trays on it.
attached is the snapshot showing how it looks like
It might be useful to see the screens that come up from the preferences button alongside the printer dropdown.
These are different for each printer, and usually spread across several tabs, so not easy to guess what settings will be offered
