Hi,
My X6 runs on a Win XP, it really takes 30-45 minutes to save a 40mb normal file with a tif and some texts with common fonts. Its not that much complicated, i don't know why, but it really kills my time and mind.
Though i tried all the suggestions found here, but there is no improvement.
Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.
Try removing parts of the drawing and save copies. This to find out if there is a specific object that is causing it.
X6 should run fine on XP. Though I'd suggest you probably need more than the 1Gb memory that Corel quotes as minimum to use it efficiently.
Make sure you delete the files in the %temp% folder regularly and I suggest also you go into control panel > system, find the VM settings and change it so that the minimum and maximum VM values are both the same and at least twice the value that microsoft "recommends".
