Calendar Wizard

Hello, i've encountered an issue at work, and is about Corel's Calendar wizard.
at least 2 PCs have Corel Draw x7 x64 product installed and on one of them i'm working on.
i've made some presets to the Calendar Wiz. and it's all good and working fine.
my question is... is there a way to copy transfer or save ... export those presets from my pc to the other one (importing them to the the second CorelDraw Calendar wiz.)?
i don't want to make them all over again... i just want to export and import them or whatever method is doing what i need.
thank you in advance.

  • If you're saying you've modified the coding within the Calendar Wizard macro on one pc and want to have the other pc with the same modified macro then yes. All you have to do is copy and paste that gms file to a thumb drive or email it and pull it into the other pc and replace the one that it has.

The presets are likely saved to the Windows Registry somewhere. I had a quick look but didn't easily see the path in the registry.

      • thank you for the reply..... i'll look forward for your answer, because copying the "gms" file doesn't seem to work

I tried Procmon.exe to check for registry writes, and also looked for an .INI file. No luck in either case. Maybe Alex, the author, can tell us where presets are stored.

      • I am using X5 – Calendar Wizard 3.5

        • Calendar language settings - language and holidays saved on file - cwzLang.ini

        • Formatting styles - cwzStyles.ini

        Both files you can find

        • Win XP

        c:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5\Custom Data\

        • Win 7

        c:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5\Custom Data\

        Best regards
