Corel CONNECT X7 Zooming while drawing a line

Zooming while drawing a line

Hi, I have problem with zooming while drawing a line. When I scroll the mouse it doesn´t zoom. I have to end the line and then zoom.

Can anyone help me what to do to zoom (sroll) WHILE drawing the line (or cropping).
When tried Corel x3 I did´t have problem...please could you help me?
I have Corel Home and Student X7.

Yes, that is correct if using the freehand tool in X7. Not sure about X3 or X4. I have X3 and X8 at home will try those later. Zoom does work if using the bezier or pen tool though.

Try using the shortcuts instead...CTRL+= to zoom in, CTRL+- to zoom out. You can also use the num key pad (CTRL+NUMPAD+ or CTRL+NUMPAD-. Use whichever is easier to reach! And if you want a one key shortcut, assign a new one.

To Myron...an alternate Zoom option when using the Bezier or Pen tool as well. :)

Thanks Patti. In X7 it only works for the bezier tool which I never use anyway. Makes for an awkward keyboard hand placement too. You can use the wheel to zoom with either the pen or the bezier tool but not the freehand. Freehand is all I'll ever use anyway.
