Editing a scanned drawing.

I draw with pencil, scan and cut out. But I cannot figure out how to make a straight line (tree trunk) bend. I find plenty of info on digital art but not handrawn/scanned images. Driving me nuts! I just want to edit my own stuff! Is Adobe a better option or am I missing something in Corel?

  • and btw, what is the bit map thing? "Can't edit a bitmap"..... what?
    • Look up Photoshop, Puppet Warp, and also Liquify. It's amazing stuff and sounds like exactly what you are looking for. Also, you can get a solid liquify functionality in Serif's Affinity Photo for 50 dollars but it's no match for Photoshop.
    • ideas: if you convert your tree to a vector version, you can edit nodes and segments between nodes. also... the Envelope Tool can tweak shapes in fairly dramatic ways. If you are staying bitmap, Photo-Paint has the Liquid Smear tool.
