Can't publish website? Help

Hi, I have built a couple of websites to send off to our server but each time I try it just crashes. I have tried creating a new one, I have tested my settings for the server and it says they are successful, I have downloaded Filezilla FTP and can connect to the server using the same settings??? Nothing is as straightforward as it seems but I have persevered only to find I can't load a site, is this a common problem? I think it just doesn't work. I have read the 'help' files, which aren't very, but have found that I can't load it to the server any other way, at least I don't think so.. has anyone out there got any suggestions as I'm beginning to think I have made a bad choice with these programs???!!!

Get a real html editor like Dreamweaver. I played with website creator for a while and deleted it. It is horrible. I have no idea why Corel offers this junk program. The CorelDraw Suite rocks and this should not be associated with such a super suite.

It's not an html editor and produces some weird stuff and after launch management is also bad. I love Draw and use it daily to make web parts. I was hoping website creator worked because I have lots of clients that don't have the budget for a cms system but they would like to self edit sites and currently I direct them to Adobe Contribute which allows edits and change to existing sites without knowledge of code.

PS: my business is Internet marketing, web development and hosting. I have hundreds of web sites on line from simple mom and pops to highly interactive cms systems.
