How can you pull out and tear off menu items. Example how do i tear off the shape tools from the toolbox etc..?
Thank you
It is (as far as I know) no longer possible to tear off a submenu like it used to be.It is fairly easy to create it though, using some of the steps already described.
Easiest way must be to:While holding Ctrl and Alt, drag the Shape tool (for example) to the drawing area. Ctrl will make sure you copy and not only move. You now have a new toolbar that you can customize.Click the Shape tool icon to make the flyout appear and start dragging the items to the new toolbar while holding Alt (if you drag from thew newly created toolbar) or Ctrl+Alt (if you drag from the toolbox and don't want to lose the original icons). This new toolbar can be opened and closed, or docked like any other toolbar.
Hope this helps.
Edit: Looks like the original submenu icons in the toolbox disappear, even if you Alt+drag the new toolbar icons, so you must reset the toolbox afterwards to make them reappear. Or use Ctrl+Alt+drag to copy instead.
...and by the way, there's a new feature in X7 to help customizing toolbars:Click the "+" symbol at the end of the toolbar and explore the possibilities.
A step backwards then?
I also noticed I Dreamwizard.
In Coreldraw X6 was possibilire remove the flags for a particular toolbar.
In fact I had several toolbars loose, especially for freehand drawing.
But from what I saw in CorelDraw X7 you can not do a thing.
The only prospect is to create you the customized toolbars.
I solved this problem as well.
Capisco che il lavoro potrebbe essere un po 'noioso in un primo momento, ma una volta che hai risolto il problema per sempre.
I went to options, work area, customization commands.
On the voice side of the list of commands I put the word "all" in this manner could easily drag all the icons of the commands affected by the new custom toolbar.
