Hi this is for listing challenges with x7 we would like fixed.
Layout imposition tool.
Old version import utility. for onetime import of old files.
Pantone palette document palette sometimes going to black in drawing. WE have 61,000 old files to update before we can upgrade. how likely do you think that will be. Staying on X4 and X6 for now
Bright interface.
ADD more if you have them

So many issues. I have been a power user of CorelDraw for 17 years at a screen printing shop. I am not a newbie.
My oberon color replacer no longer works. The Color styles docker has no choice for just changing colors of the current page or the selection. That doesn't work for me.
Changing a color, and then CTRL+R changes the color, but not in the status bar
Using Corel's find and replace objects (which has to be done twice - once for the fill, and once for the outline) doesn't necessarily work. I tried repeatedly to change white rgb to cmyk. I had to go to the object manager and manually change the color of thousands of objects. This is unacceptable.
Selecting a font, and typing in a font name to go to crashes the program
The interface is very confusing. It's hard to find things with the poor contrast and over abundance of unnecessary info.
As I attempt to do my job, I'm sure I will find countless new glitches and problems. CorelDraw X7 is not ready for prime time.
Hi,

This can be adjusted now if you Download the latest Update from Corel. Just log into your Corel account and download both updates. When that is installed, just go to "Tools > Customization" and choose Contrast High | Desktop Colour | Window Border".
You can do this now and today :-)

Please be more specific. I use Fotns everyday almost in CorelDRAW and Photo-Paint. If I can try to duplicate your crash, then I will be able to report it to the right people at Corel, unless they see it first here themselves. But please explain your step. And if you select any specific font. A specific font can actually make things happen by misstake. Even which Windows OS you use. Remember how an Windows update from Microsoft made programs from Corel, Quark, Adobe and Microsoft themselves and many other programs to not work. Microsoft had to come out with a new update. And Corel found the problem at hand and helped us to know exactly which Microsoft update it was we needed to uninstall.

I use it everyday for all sort of production. Please report any issues you expereince. Step by step make it easier and quicker to nail donw what the issue is at hand. Especially if others can duplicate it as well.
This issue is very important, but I see still uncorrected;
PNG(and other transparent channel image format) export problem
My version X7 Sp2 (downloaded corel)
My system Win8
I asked for three more people
they also have
Sorry TRAM is mean "Tint"
sample. Pantone 286C %50 Tint
I trying 8bit PNG no problem but 24bit PNG this problem
A tint is still a solid color. You would need to use overprint. But I don't think that is the effect you are going after as the Pantone tint set to overprint is still going to add transparency in the areas of overlap.
Instead I would suggest looking at simply using transparency on 100% of the Pantone color.
But then, I have no idea of what you are trying to accomplish. If you could explain what it is you want to accomplish, that may help.
Mike
of course, this big problem
we're doing box designs and We offer them in 3d box We need to export it to PNG 24 bit
This Adobe illustrator and Corel X4
This Corel X7 Sp2 don't true ,is very very unreasonable results
From what I can see there is a problem with the Export preview. It incorrectly displays a transparency for the tinted spot color, where it should have been a solid color, right? The exported file is fine though, or do you get something else, exedesign?
Tip: Please post new issues in separate threads. Burying them in an old generic thread like "X7 Problem List", will decrease the chances of them being read.
No I was wrong. The tinted spot color is transparent also in the resulting PNG file. This is a bug and I'll notify Corel.
Thank god,someone who understands me
I hope they fix it> we don't use x7 anymore thanks for giving Corel an explanation of one more issue maybe they should refund the x7 buyers.
I'm getting warnings about the warranty running out.. That's funny not one issue that I've seen reported has actually been fixed.
Warranty you've got to be kidding pay for something that shouldn't be needed that's funny. How about Corel get things working and supply updates for two years this is like selling cars without brakes

I'm still looking for the "Print this sheet now" in the flyout version of the Print Preview window to be fixed. Not the full Print Preview dialog window - just the small preview window you can click as a flyout from the print dialog. That line has been greyed out through both service packs.
I'm hoping for more stability on the fountain fill dialog. More often than not, Corel X7 crashes when trying to access it. For that matter, I seriously hate that pause when trying to access even the fills you have stored locally.
And I'd STILL like the font size input in the Text Properties docker to be returned to a spin dial instead of the drop-down box. X6 had it as a spin dial - absolutely NO reason for it to have been taken out.
We continue to have problems with autobackup not working. No reminders of having found an autobackup file, no files to be found in the specified location.
Undoubtedly, more to come... sigh...
