Ever since I upgraded to X7, when I publish a PDF file from my CorelDraw document, the PDF file is blank. It is completely empty. All the pages show up - they are just empty.
This happens with any type of PDF - for web or for print.
When I try to publish it again and overwrite the old one, it is still blank.
But when I delete the old one and try to publish again, sometimes I get a perfect PDF, other times it is still blank.
I've never had this problem before X7. It is a little irritating when I'm in a hurry and need to send a client a PDF.
Any help on how to fix this would be much appreciated!
UPDATE: This issue has now been fixed. I reinstalled CorelDraw X7 and I have no more problems with PDFs.
Hello Carmia; You need the latest .Net and Gost Script files for the Windows you are using to help CorelDraw to work well.
George
Are you trying to create the PDF on a network drive, or a special folder such as dropbox ?
X7 saving to dropbox folders currently does not work -- Corel says this should be fixed in Update 1 due later this month.
Saving to a network drive may be a problem if you don't have complete access to the folder you are saving to.
Hi George, thank you for your help. I updated my .NET and Ghost Script but unfortunately it did not do the trick
Hi Harry. No, I'm working locally on my computer hard drive.
X7.1 is out now in case you have not found it -- http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index.jsp?pgid=800161&ppid=8100054&popular -- might be worth retesting in that.
