Is there a way to automatically close the tagged "Welcome Screen" from top bar (which shows opened files) after any chosen option (Open Recent Files, for example)?
If you move your cursor to the tab that is the label for the Welcome Screen, you should see an 'X'. Click on that and it will close the Welcome Screen.
Yes, I know that, but I wish if, after opening a new file, "Welcome" tag could be closed automatically.

If you don't want to see the Welcome Screen at all, you can go to Tools/Options/Workspace/General, then from the "On CorelDRAW X7 start-up" drop-down menu select an option other than "Welcome Screen."
The question is not "Not see Welcome Screen", but make it close automatically after opening any file. I do not see any sense Welcome Screen tag remains open after selecting the desired option.
There is no automatic way to close the welcome screen after creating a new document.

Hello cdr.cpt;
It would make the program larger, taking more space on the hard drive, and adding something else for the ram to have to hold. And it doesn't take a sec. to close it like Hugh is saying. And I kind of like it the way it is. if you want to open another recent file you can just click on it. Different people like different things, and it Would be a Lot to make it the way everyone wants the program to setup.
My thoughts, George
A strange reply. As already said, why can't you just disable it in the tools/options/workspace/general and just pick 'nothing' in the list?
