Is there a way to automatically close the tagged "Welcome Screen" from top bar (which shows opened files) after any chosen option (Open Recent Files, for example)?
If you move your cursor to the tab that is the label for the Welcome Screen, you should see an 'X'. Click on that and it will close the Welcome Screen.
Yes, I know that, but I wish if, after opening a new file, "Welcome" tag could be closed automatically.

A strange reply. As already said, why can't you just disable it in the tools/options/workspace/general and just pick 'nothing' in the list?
Hello ggut; That can be done, as the screen shot below.

Um...I already know this. I was trying to ask the OP why they can't just turn it off.
If you have a full retail version (ie, one that can run VBA) you can auto-close the welcome screen with something like this:
Private Sub GlobalMacroStorage_DocumentOpen(ByVal Doc As Document, ByVal FileName As String) Dim f As FrameWindow Dim d As DockHost Dim vh As ViewHost Dim vw As ViewWindow For Each f In FrameWork.FrameWindows If f.IsMainFrame Then For Each vh In f.ViewHosts For Each vw In vh.Views If Not vw Is Nothing Then If vw.Title = "Welcome Screen" Then vw.Close End If End If Next vw Next vh End If Next fEnd Sub
It probably should have a few more tests and some error traps, but it seems to have worked so far. If you try it, remember it is there and be ready to remove it if you see any unexpected results.
For practical use, I suspect it needs the ability to hide the welcome screen rather than close it, and to bring it back when you close the final window, but I can't think how you'd do that.
