Curious why did you upgrade what feature was compelling.
we us x6 have tried x7 too many problems for us at the moment.

Hello ross; First off X6 Does NOT have font imbedding. And X7 does everything that X6 does and a lot more, Color engine for one.

I jumped from X3 to X6 and was bummed that the font embedding option was no longer there. Glad to hear it's back.
Uh, so why would Corel scrap a feature that's been there - from what I can remember - seemingly forever?

Hello KT; It had something to do with licensing. The X7 is owned by Corel. ( They wrorte it.)

The font embedding was not forever. Older version doesn't have this feature. It was a third-part technology (called TrueDoc) and most user don't use it. This new feature is superior. since the fonts are included on the document (similar to the PDF with embedded fonts), it more secure and useful (doesn't require to install font each time)
