Hi, i create web SVG-generator special for my CorelDRAW X7. Its fine working, but i have terrible problem with rendner round objects.
Original svg on browser: (https://jsfiddle.net/jayqtq64/ )
Same svg on Corel:
Same svg in Adobe Illustrator:
Can't undestand, problem with generated svg, or i have problems with settings on my CorelDRAW X7?
No clue. Just for thought, I opened it also in Inkscape, which it renders correctly. Saving from Inkscape and opening again in Draw X8 still gives the malformed shapes. The svg has been tagged as originating or at least passing through Illustrator, (<!-- Generator: Adobe Illustrator 17.1.0, SVG Export Plug-In . SVG Version: 6.00 Build 0) -->). I wonder of there are some precision export values in Illustrator that are some how involved. I don't have Illustrator here.
Something along the precision setting I was thinking, this post shows were to change it in Illustrator. Not sure it is what is happening here but, could be.
MikeWe said:Could add to everyone's Open With... to include XDP, AD, PL--they all open it properly. As do all browsers I have installed. My guess would be that CD is getting hung up on the rotate transform statements. With SVG ever increasing as a file format, I would reckon this needs attention.
I find this disappointing. It looks awful in X7 and in X8.
I don't do a lot in Inkscape, but if I create a few words of text, convert object to path, then save it, the resulting SVG is a train wreck when imported into CorelDraw (but renders fine in my web browsers).
SVG seems to me like the sort of thing where CorelDraw ought to be more competent than that.
Here's a fix;
In the SVG Export Dialogue, don't export as text, instead, export as Curves. By doing that, there would be no font-related rendering issue such as this one.
I hope that helps anyone having a similar issue.
