I find myself using a lot of bitmap images, which are usually very pixelated. I've tried using powertrace but it doesn't do well at all on most of my images. Is there a way to "flatten" the image or somehow render it less pixelated for printing?
Depends on what you mean by "image". A photo of people vs. a logo
If it's a logo you can find most in vector format on brandsoftheworld.com or similar sites. Another way is to do an advanced google search whereby choosing to search for pdf's. Sometimes you can find a logo in vector format within the pdf. Worst case scenario would be to do an autotrace and clean up OR just straight out redraw.
Photos of people and the like wouldn't work so well. crap in = crap out
Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. I've used brandsoftheworld.com a lot. It's been great! Thanks for the input! I appreciate it.
