Specify length of a PORTION of an object

In CorelDraw X7, is it possible to specify the length of a part of an object? For example in the object below, can I make the length of the RED rectangle be X and as a result resize the whole object keeping the original proportions.

    One approach would be to "measure" the current length of that part of the object by drawing a 2-node line and then seeing what the length is. From that, and from knowing the length you want it to be, you could calculate the scaling factor to use.

    A lot of that work can be automated using a VBA macro: #25 - Macro - "Match Vectors".
