We have 2 pc's with X7 loaded. System #1 has worked flawlessly for years but is still running on windows 7. If I save the fully customized workspace for use on System #2 running windows 10 the system crashing constantly for the simplest of tasks. Change it back to the default and all is good. Could it be that by saving from a win7 pc it makes it incompatible with win10. The way I see it now we're going to have to go through and manually customize system 2's workspace. Probably over 30 different macros and custom icons, as well as, assigned shortcut keys.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
p.s. even tried running win10 system in compatibility mode but didn't make a difference

Have you checked on System #2 to see if X7 there has been fully updated? X7 had a lot of updates.
I think that Update 6 brings it up to 17.6.0.1021.
I believe you're correct also.
I find it a little bit confusing, because they also have an Update 6.1 that can applied after Update 6 - but they don't state anything about whether it will report something different for build number after installing 6.1.
I have run the Update for 6.1; X7 is still reporting 17.6.0.1021.
I have them all archived on my server, I'll check for any descriptions.
I checked I have no release notes at all.

When it comes to what build number is reported, this is what they show for currently available updates for X7:
They also have a link there to release notes for Update 6 (which also includes release notes for the other updates).
I got my downloads when they were new, God knows when that was and there must not have been any description text with them.
