How do you collapse all layers when multiple layers are expanded.
Clicking each layer to collapse them is a major pain.

Yeah, they changed that one in X7. You have to hit the little triangle in the Object Manager and choose your option there. If that's what you're after?

There is no 'Collapse all Layers' option even there.
Oops. I was working in X4 and trying to recall my co-workers workstation which has X7. Try here.

Perhaps the poster is looking to flatten his artwork onto one and only one layer?
I think the requirement is to collapse several layers (not several objects) and as far as I'm aware, there is no way to collapse more than one layer at a time through the user interface.
I don't think it can be done through VBA either. There doesn't seem to be an obvious property or method of layer, which is where I would expect to find it if it exists.
