Is there a macro that would seek out all symbols in a document and revert them all to objects? I believe the symbols are really bogging down my file and there are too many at this point to find them. Thanks.

After you try this, please share your results in this thread, i.e., whether or not you saw a change in performance by converting the symbols to regular objects. I am curious, and I expect that other users may be, too.
Definitely. One of the major problems I keep having is anytime I bring a new symbol into my document and convert to an object it takes almost five minutes for it to complete. Corel basically locks up and the layers docker just flickers until it's done.
Thanks!
I have not worked with symbols much, but I can imagine ways in which I might use them, so I'm curious.
CorelDRAW can do some things that are very difficult to understand, as it is often a "black box" to us. I worked with a drawing a few months ago that had a significant number of Connector lines. In X8, some operations were quite slow - but were fast if I converted the Connectors to regular lines.
In CorelDRAW 2018, the same operations on the same document - with Connector lines still present - were fast!
I just had an issue this week. A document that had been worked on over a year on X7 just started throwing an error "coreldraw vgcore encountered an improper argument". I couldn't save the document. I opened it up in Corel 2018 and had no problem. Saved down the file as an X7 and no longer had the issue.
