CorelDRAW X8 What happened to my thumbnails?

What happened to my thumbnails?

I just installed X8, but now all of my thumbnails in windows explorer are the Corel logo instead of the art preview thumbnail.

How can I fix this?

All thumbnails work fine for me.

Mine disappeared too, but resolved by reassigning "Open with" to the .cdr and .cpt files to the Corel Draw X8 versions.

Mine worked in Windows Explorer itself but not the import/open window inside draw. This is a recurring problem that happens when installing a new version of Corel. Try right clicking on a CorelDraw file in Windows Explorer and choose properties and click change and choose X8. This might fix it.

Ate mine too. I haven't tried re-setting them to open with X8 as I think I want to keep using X7 until the dust settles somewhat. I did not uninstall X7, perhaps that is a factor.
