I have a file created (originally in x5). I am now using x8. I have edited to all cmyk colors and in a cmyk document and the right profiles. The colors shift when export.
What is causing this? See images. I have been using Corel for over 20 years and have never seen this. I have had this issue in x7 and x8.
Corel colors
Pdf colors - Why are there grey tones in the image ??????
If your soft proofing is set to CMYK you'll see how it will print now how to get more of what you're looking for.
I could explain what is happening but it would put you to sleep and you most likely don't care. Suffice to say the CMYK soft proof is more like it will print if you send out live fountain fills, so CorelDraw is doing a better job of proofing. But that sucks so lets get happy.
DO NOT SOFT PROOF CMYK
Take your file and convert the fountain filled art to a HIGH RES RGB bitmap first then change the mode to a CMYK bitmap. The result should be greatly improved. Then you can send out as PDF, JPG or what ever.
Make your black from C,M,Y,K - 0,100,100,100 then blend to your red
Chris using the blend tool?
That's what I said.
