I've got some basic CD knowledge. Now we got an engraving machine and myself and a coworker and I need to find a class in Tampa, FL. How do I find one, there's like 200 colleges here, and I'm sick of logging on to each and every college website, digging and digging, and coming up dry. It takes WAY too long. Isn't there a better way to find your local class list?
Sorry I dont live in Florida or the USA even, but here is a post about users in Tampa and Florida. http://community.coreldraw.com/forums/p/7044/26265.aspx#26265
Thanks, I replied to one of the ladies there.
I just thought that Corel would host a page where you could find out what universities held their classes. Or type in your country and they would list all the places that taught Corel in that country/state. You'd think they would keep track of something like that!
I think you should check http://www.unleash.com/
There are video tutorials and books you may find useful instead of going to an actual sit in class.
Hi Kellysabot,Its true, Foster D. Coburn have probable the best DVD/book tutorial and reference material out there, and especially great for new users, but also for advanced users. Okey Foster and I have met in person, but his advice and his website have through the years been a huge leaning source. And thats way before Foster and I met in person a year ago. He is a nice guy, and very good in what he does. So a check on his website & new DVD/book is really good advice. And wether you go to a class or not, the DVD/book is good to have as a reference. http://www.unleash.com/coreldrawx4unleashed/
One of the people on the link I mepsoted, and I saw your post in there, is RIchard Reilly Fluid Design in Florida. Maybe you email him a direct question via this forum and ask if he knows anything. He have been involved in Foster D. Coburns "CorelDRAW Boot Camp", here is one: http://www.unleash.com/training/coreldrawbootcampcruise.asp Maybe an email to Foster D. Coburn and ask if they are having any Boot Camp CorelDARW Classes in Florida planned? I would send an email to him.
Thanks for the plug Stefan. I would also like to point out our land-based Boot Camps. You can get all of the details at http://www.unleash.com/training/coreldrawbootcamp.asp . No, they aren't in Tampa. While you might find something in Tampa, I seriously doubt you can find anything that will come close to the information we provide in Boot Camp. Since you have already invested in your engraving equipment, I highly recommend you seriously consider the Boot Camp so you can get the most out of it.
