So I don't do a ton of actual printing, but this has really been bugging me and i can't seem to figure out why it does this so any clues will be greatly appreciated. In the images attached you will see what my issue is. I have it set to letter size (8.5x11) and just as an example you can see i just drew a rectangle. But when i print it out it always cuts out the bottom. You can see from the second screenshot which i took in print preview....those dotted lines are what it prints, not the true letter size...so when i print its always cut off..its created its own border..does anybody know how to fix this? tia
all printers have there own "print area". See under view/page/printable area. Anything that falls outside that area will not print. You can set your print settings to "fit to page" however it will shrink your rectangle a bit. If you absolutely need to print that exact size you might see if your priter allows for borderless printing.
thanks myron...glad to hear it's the printers fault and not the program..i will dig into "fit to page"...
