Moving a connected line

Hi everyone,

I'm after a bit on insider knowledge in CorelDraw, if you can help.

I have straight line, off which I have several smaller perpendicular lines

What I want to do is curve the main line, whilst all the little lines remain attached and perpendicular at their connection points

But, the curve for the main line is not regular, it's an ovoid shape. I'll also need 6 iterations, parallel and growing in height / width.

Can any of you explain how I can draw this, without tediously adding each individual line?
