Howdy y'all-
I will be leaving my current position in a couple of weeks. I have done my best (in 4 days) to train my replacement, a non-graphics person. Also, I have tried to back up the knowledge base by giving some training to a few of the engineering personnel. My boss thinks it would be a good idea to get a trainer in-house to give some more formal instruction, but we haven't had a lot of luck coming up with anybody with a manufacturing background.
Anybody???
Thanks.
Dear Jill
Hi! can you tell me some details of candidature thats you or your boss excepted, means job area, responsiblities, experiences etc.
Best regard.
That's the problem, see. He really doesn't know, and doesn't understand that a focus on laser engraving and signage won't give the people here any insight into technical illustration. What I'd like is somebody that knows how to make isometric line drawings using EZ-Metrics and CorelDraw.
thanks for your interest!
Another option is to have a look at Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite 12. It is based on the CorelDRAW engine, but adds specific technical illustration features such as Isometric drawing, including dimetric, trimetric and custom, as well as call-outs, better dimensioning, ... The trial is available from the download section and you are eligible to the upgrade if you are already a CorelDRAW Graphics Suite customer.

Of course the best upgrade would be by Corel. Sorry had a blonde moment!
Hi, I suppose I'm a little late in replying to this email, however if you are still looking for someone to train yourself or your colleagues up in isometric line illustrations; I have got extensive experience in Itedo Isodraw and Adobe illustrator with 17 years experience in Technical illustration and Digital Retouching. I would imagine Corel Draw isn't that much different to Adobe illustrator. The only problem is I am based in Oxford UK.
Daz.
Hello Daz,
for training options in the UK, I would recommend you contact the local Corel Customer Service (http://www.corel.com/contactus). They will be able to provide you with more information about the regional training partners. In addition, as mentioned in a previous article, did you have a look at Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite 12. It has specific tools for Isometric drawing and it includes Corel PHOTO-PAINT for photo editing. A trial is available from the download section on this site.
