While functioning flawless on my old computer CorelDraw 12 now crashes regularly (ever couple of minutes whe I try to work on older files) on my new computer.
As I have quite a number of technical CorelDraw drawings to maintain this is now a real problem for me.

Bearing in mind that came out in 2002 and was designed to run under XP, it could be tricky!
Have you tried running it in compatibility mode set to Win XP SP3?
Thanks for hint. Unfortunately it did not work. Does Corel offer an update for 12?

I can't imagine that Corel (or any other software company) will be bringing out patches for 16 year old software....Sorry.
Probably very true... So it seems I must try to import my Corel drawings into a yet to be purchased easy to learn 2D CAD program...

I don't know where you live, but here in the UK Corel are having a sale with 15% off, and I would think you might be eligible for the upgrade price
Might be worth thinking about
