More specifically, I can open corel draw, but I can't open a document OR create a new document.
Yes I've tried the F8 reset. Still no good.
Anyone else having this problem?
This might not be the only software I am having a problem with.
Edit:
Problem update for me is: Security Update for Windows 7 (KB2918614)
Didn't affect my other windows 7 machine. For now I am blocking that update.
I had a windows upate this morning, but CorelDraw is still working today.
Have you tried a repair or reinstall ?
Hello Mike; No it's working fine here. I think I would try turning Windows back to a earlier date before I did the F8 trick ( A No Fun boomer.) I didn't get any Windows update like Harry thou.
Good Luck, George
I ended up having to do a restore point in windows to get it to work. I'll keep monitoring it. Just wanted to know if others had the same problem. Thanks all!
You'll need to change windows updates to manual and install them a few at a time, to check whether one of them was the cause.
The 171 meg optional update (KB 2975719) causes my system to do a restore in order to boot up. Tried it twice, once with just installing everything and once installing all the Important updates, rebooting and trying the optional update separately. Same result. A few other people that mention that they are having application issues even when the optional update installs successfully.
With just the Important updates, CD and everything else I have started/ran have been fine.
