*************Linked images I'm having problems linking images using CorelDRAW X6 and X7. When I insert the linked image in the document, it comes with 45dpi. When making changes to image through an image editor, Photoshop or PhotoPaint is, after using the Bitmap menu, Upgrade from Bond, the image loses quality even more. Jah tried using Window Update window (CTRL + W) menu, several other options and nothing works. The strange thing is that when I publish the PDF-X / 1A, the picture will return to normal in both PDF as the CDR. What can this be?
Linked images are by default at low resolution on screen (45 dpi), although you can change this value the image don't change the real values. When you print or publish as PDF, it will send the original resolution. open the Regeistry edito (Start menu / run / regedit) and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\CorelDRAW\17.0\Draw\Application Preferences\Bitmaps, then change the Preview Resolution to the value you want, btw it will change only the preview on screen, not the real resolution. the more preview resolution, more slow the refresh.
Linked images has any advantadge to the size of the file and memory usage. When you open the file, the reult is the same than if you embedd the images on the file. The advantadges are the low resolution preview and the ability to fast replace or correct the image. Of course, if you see the JPG and CDR files when are closed, it seems smaller, but when the file is open the JPG are uncompressed (same if you open the image with PhotoPaint, Photoshop or similar) and the CorelDRAW file, the memory usage is the same as the same file with embedded images

Thank you Ariel. I ended up finding yesterday in the community this change Windows registry. It would be interesting, for an update of the CorelDRAW window Links, had an option to see real resolution. For help when exporting the final file to JPG / PNG, or even to show the client screen. Since the actual file appears only in PDF. Again, thank you!
Thank you all for the answers! Is solved.
