I set the outline color to red. You can see that it's not working. I just see a small red square at middle left side only.
if the original shape has not outline, the contour also has not outline. Add an ouline to the original shape ("the black C") and you will have the outline on the contour
Hello dhlao; It could be the font you are using, you can try converting it to curves first, that may help. Below is what I get in X6.

Hello Ariel, below picture is what happen if I add the outline to the font.
1. add 3px blue outline to the font by outline pen
2. use contour tool to make red outline and green fill
3. use outline pen to set no outline
