Can I insert a photo into a text box so I can wrap the text around it? If so how do I do it please.
you don't actually insert it into the box just right click the photo and choose wrap paragraph text. Now you can move it where you want and the text should wrap around it.
Yes, but the photo doesn't go in the text box. The photo should go in as a separate object, in the place where you want to photo to appear.
Select the photo and look for the icon I've circled:
